A GUIDED TOUR

What’s at the North Pole?

Santa’s village sits under the northern lights, with snowy mountains all around. Here is what children find on the map, and what they can do in each place.

Santa’s Workshop

The biggest building in the village, where the elves build toys all year. Children tap to help, and the toy-o-meter counts every toy they make.

Santa’s House

Santa’s cosy home by the North Pole sign. Depending on the time of day, he is having breakfast, checking the toy list, visiting the reindeer, reading letters by the fire or fast asleep.

Reindeer Stables

Home to Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen. Children give each reindeer a carrot and learn something fun about them.

Mrs. Claus’s Bakery

Mrs. Claus bakes for the whole village. Children choose a cookie shape, an icing colour and sprinkles, and decorate a cookie for Santa.

Post Office

Where letters to Santa arrive. Children write a short letter with their first name and one wish, then watch it fly off. A grown-up can ask for Santa’s reply by email.

Sleigh Runway

Santa’s sleigh waits here, loaded with presents. A countdown shows how long until he takes off on Christmas Eve, in your own time zone.

Frozen Lake

An elf skates on the ice next to a snowman. Children can make it snow over the whole village and learn a snowflake fact.

Elf Village

The colourful little houses where the elves live. Children pick the first letter of their name and their birthday month to discover their own elf name.

Nice List Tree

The big tree in the village square, where Santa keeps the Nice List. Children check whether their name is on it; a grown-up can ask for a printable certificate.

Eight gold stars are hidden in the snow, too. Children who find all eight become official North Pole Explorers. On Christmas Eve, follow Santa’s sleigh around the world on the Santa Tracker.

FOR PARENTS

Questions grown-ups ask

Is the North Pole map free?

Yes. The map, the games and the hidden stars are free, with no sign-up and no ads.

Does it collect my child’s information?

No. Children only ever type a first name or a short wish, and that stays on your device. Only if a grown-up answers a grown-up question and asks for an email (Santa’s reply, a Nice List certificate or the Explorer certificate) do we use your email address, your child’s first name and the wish to send it. We delete the first name and wish once the email is sent. There are no ads, no advertising trackers and no Google Analytics on this page.

Which devices does it work on?

Phones, tablets such as iPad, laptops and desktop computers, in any modern browser. Drag to explore, pinch or use the + and − buttons to zoom, and tap a glowing sign to go inside.

Can my child talk to Santa?

Yes, on a live video call that a parent books. Santa is a friendly, real-time AI character on video, made for children. He talks with your child by name, using only what you add to Santa’s notebook, and you stay nearby during the call. Book a Santa call or read how we keep calls safe.

Is there sound?

Yes: gentle sleigh bells, chimes and crunchy carrots. Use the speaker button above the map to turn sound on or off.
