Meet the AI Santa your child can talk to live

Our Santa is a real-time AI character. Your child sees him on video in his workshop, talks to him out loud, and he answers straight away, by name, using only what you add to Santa’s notebook. US$19.90 per child, for families in the United States and Canada.

THE TECHNOLOGY

What is an AI Santa?

An AI Santa is a computer-generated Santa who listens and talks back in real time. Ours has a warm voice and an animated video face. He hears what your child says and replies in the moment, the way a person would on a video call.

He isn’t a recording that plays the same way for every child, and he isn’t a person in a costume. Each visit is a fresh, private conversation between Santa and one child, with a parent nearby.

SANTA’S NOTEBOOK

How the AI Santa knows your child

After you book, you fill in Santa’s notebook. Santa knows only what you write there, and you can change it any time before the visit.

Their name

Their first name and how to say it, plus their age so Santa can pitch his words right.

Their year

Something they’re proud of, their favourite things and their pet’s name.

Their wishes

You decide which wishes Santa may mention. He treats a wish as a wish and never promises a present.

What to avoid

Anything Santa should gently steer around, and a message from family he can pass on.

Santa’s notebook is deleted automatically 24 hours after the visit. You can erase it sooner from My visits.

Does the AI Santa see my child?

No. The call uses your microphone only, and your camera is never turned on. Your child sees Santa; Santa hears your child. He may say “it’s good to see you” as a friendly greeting, but he can’t see your child or your home.

Calls are not recorded, and the conversation audio is not stored.

Telling your child Santa is AI

We tell parents up front: when you book, you confirm you understand Santa is a real-time AI character. On the call, Santa stays in character. He won’t bring up AI on his own and leaves technical questions to the grown-up.

How you explain it to your child is your choice.

SANTA’S GOLDEN RULES

What the AI Santa will never do

Santa is guided to stay warm, gentle and on the subject of Christmas. If a conversation wanders, he steers it back.

  • Ask for an address, school, contact details, photos or secrets
  • Promise a present, or turn a wish into a promise
  • Claim to be watching your child
  • Shame, threaten or rank how good your child has been
  • Keep going when your child asks to stop: he says a short, warm goodbye

AFTER THE VISIT

Keepsakes made from Santa’s notebook

Every visit that starts comes with a printable Nice List certificate and a letter from Santa, made from what you added to his notebook. Open them from My visits and print or save them as PDFs before the notebook is deleted 24 hours after the visit.

AI Santa questions
