DECEMBER 26 · LIVE ON VIDEO
Boxing Day Santa calls: the magic keeps going
Christmas doesn’t have to end on the 25th. On December 26, Santa is relaxing at the North Pole with the reindeer asleep by the fire — and he’d love a cosy catch-up with your child about the best Christmas ever.

What a Boxing Day call with Santa is like
The rush is over at the North Pole. Santa has his boots off, Mrs. Claus has the cocoa on, and the elves are taking a well-earned nap. It’s the most relaxed, story-filled Santa call of the season.
Santa asks about their favourite moment of Christmas, the gift they’ve played with most, and the kind things they did for others. He shares funny stories from his trip — a chimney that was a little too narrow, a dog that tried to follow the sleigh — and plants the first seeds of excitement for next year.
On a Boxing Day call, Santa will…
- Share stories from his Christmas Eve journey
- Ask about their favourite Christmas moment
- Celebrate kindness and good sharing
- Introduce the sleepy reindeer
- Start the countdown to next Christmas
A Canadian holiday tradition, now with Santa
In Canada, Boxing Day is a day off for many families — from Vancouver to St. John’s. It’s the perfect unhurried day for a call with Santa, with no rushing to dinners or church. In the United States, December 26 is a quieter day after the big celebration, when kids are home and still buzzing.
Wherever you are, calls run from 9 AM to 8:30 PM in your local time zone — Newfoundland, Atlantic, Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, Alaska and Hawaii.
Beat the post-Christmas blues
Every parent knows the December 26 dip: the build-up is over and little ones feel it. A Boxing Day Santa call gives them something magical to look forward to all over again — and a gentle chance for Santa to talk about gratitude, sharing new toys and writing thank-you notes.
Tell Santa about thank-yous
Add “writing thank-you cards” to the notebook and Santa will cheer them on.
Share the new toys
Let Santa praise them for sharing with a brother, sister or friend.
A note for next year
Santa can encourage one small goal — tidying up, reading more — for the year ahead.
Boxing Day Santa call questions
Is Santa really available after Christmas?
Yes. Santa takes live video calls all day on December 26, from 9 AM to 8:30 PM in your time zone.
We live in the US. Can we still book a Boxing Day call?
Of course — it’s simply a December 26 call. Santa will talk about the day after Christmas rather than “Boxing Day” if you’d prefer; just pick your country when you book.
Can I book a Boxing Day call as well as Christmas Eve?
Yes. Each call is booked separately at $19.90 USD, and Santa remembers what you told him for the first call if you’re signed in.
Can I book on Boxing Day itself?
Yes, if slots are open. You can book any available time up until it starts.
One more visit from Santa before the year ends.
Booking takes about a minute.
